Are you a woman who loves to read and loves to talk about what she’s reading? Maybe you want to be more intentional in your everyday life? Or perhaps you have finally decided to tackle that bucket list? If any of those descriptions speak to you, I would like to introduce you to the Prose & Pastime Facebook group! It’s a place where women gather to talk books, build friendships, and encourage each other to make everyday just a little bit better!
Prose & Pastime – Readers and Talkers
Yes, we are both! Each month we select a title from the 12 Month Reading Guide and gather online to talk about what we’re reading. Our monthly book discussions remain open so if you aren’t available for the “live” event (or if you haven’t finished the book yet!), you can come back and join the conversation at any time.
Prose & Pastime – Making Everyday, Better!
I recently started a series of weekly “Why Not?” challenges that encourage members to try a little something new. These challenges have a different theme each week. Sometimes they are vague with lots of leeway for choosing how you would like to fulfill the challenge; other times they will be pretty specific.
Each challenge is designed to help you make everyday just a little bit better!
Prose & Pastime – Friends and Encouragement
In the few months this group has been active, I’ve watched strangers become friends, I’ve seen old friends reconnect, and I’ve witnessed encouragement spread freely! The ages and stages of our members vary, but that hasn’t stopped these ladies from connecting with each other.
Prose & Pastime – A Place for YOU?
If this sounds like a place you would like to be, please read the group description and request to join here. We welcome likeminded, encouraging women — especially if you also love a good book!
If you like this post, you don’t want to miss these!
